CDN-Monteverde delegation visits Chile and Argentina

A delegation of the Concertación Democrática Nicaragüense (CDN-Monteverde) will meet this week with high-level government officials from Argentina and Chile, as well as with human rights organizations and other civil society organizations. In these meetings, they will continue to denounce the grave human rights violations committed by the Ortega-Murillo regime, as well as the inhumane conditions in which more than 140 people are imprisoned in Nicaragua for political reasons.

In addition to the specific topics included in the work agenda in each country, the delegation will express its gratitude for the concern and support that both nations have expressed for Nicaragua; and will request that they continue to support the efforts of the CDN-Monteverde to achieve the reestablishment of democracy in Nicaragua.

The group is made up of Tamara Dávila, Juan Diego Barberena, Eliseo Núñez Morales, Juan Sebastián Chamorro and Kevin Solís.
